XL Apple Hootenanny

Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp Butter
- 1.5 cup Apples Thinly Sliced
- 6 Eggs
- 0.75 cup Whole Milk
- 0.75 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 0.5 tsp Sea Salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400° Thinly slice your cored but not peeled apples. Melt butter in your cast iron fry pan and take half of the butter out for your batter (you can place it directly into your blender) Let the apples simmer on medium low heat for five minutes until just tender
In your blender combine the reserved melted butter, and the rest of your batter ingredients and process until smooth. When your apples are tender, pour your batter into the pan and put your skillet in the oven Cook for 18 minutes. Dust with powder sugar (optional) and serve with maple syrup (optional.)
