Easy TVP Rice Bowls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup TVP
  • 1.5 cup Water or Broth
  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 3 Large Carrots Shredded
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Fresh Grated Ginger
  • 1 bunch Scallions slivered
  • 1 cup Mayo
  • 1 tbsp Fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tsp Fresh grated turmeric
  • 2 Cloves Crushed Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 0.33 cup Water (third cup)
  • 0.5 tsp Sugar

Directions:

Melt your butter and seasonings in a pan until the water comes to boil and then add your tvp and stir. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Serve on top of rice with fresh sliced scallions.
Add all of the ingredients to a mason jar and mix well, serve chilled.
