You can make theseĀ BBQ bowls as spicy or mild as you like. We made two batches of course, one that used ground beef for the folks in our multi-gen home of ten that eat meat and a lovely version that featured Gardein crumble which is vegan and a perfect complement to this easy rice dish.

Ingredients
1 pound Organic Jasmine rice
28 ounces Gardein Be'f Crumble (2 packages)
1 pound Organic Carrots
1 Bunch Scallions
3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Fresh Grated Ginger
2 Cloves Crushed Garlic
1 teaspoon Paprika (Or Korean Chili)
Instructions
Prepare jasmine rice as directed in your rice cooker or on stove top.
To make your saute easy and quick you can microwave the gardein in a glass baking pan, then add to your cast iron frying pan and stir with your seasonings and soy sauce. Add a half cup of water if the crumble looks dry. We also added butter to our pan, omit or use plant butter for a vegan dish.
Add your shredded carrots and let warm through until the carrots are tender but not soft. Serve over rice and sprinkle with fresh sliced scallion.
