Yam Seitan BBQ Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2.00 cup Ketchup
  • 2.00 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1.00 tbsp Molasses
  • 0.25 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1.00 tbsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1.00 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1.00 Onion
  • 2.00 Large Carrots
  • 0.50 cup Plant Butter
  • 2.00 cup Water
  • 1.00 cup Cooked Yam
  • 2.50 cup Vital Wheat Gluten
  • 1.00 tsp Salt

Directions:

Place the ingredients for the BBQ sauce in a medium sauce pan and simmer on low for at least 15 minutes.
Place onion, carrots and water food processor and blend until smooth. Add yam and softened butter and puree.
Place in roasting pan coat with BBQ sauce and bake for an hour at a 350° oven until browned and sticky.
