What makes a stay-cation during a pandemic any different than any other week during a pandemic? Well a Sunday LEMONADE CONTEST for one thing. We have fun with our cut-throat / chopped halloween contests or decorating parties. So since it was slated to be 114° (not the heat index the actual air temperature, the FEELS LIKE was closer to 117°) we thought it might be refreshing to have a drink making party. Everyone had several days to plan/prepare and we did our best to get ingredients included with our online grocery orders.
Karma is allergic to the world, so she didn’t participate in the tasting part of the judging but each entry was judged on four qualities … Presentation, Creativity, Taste and … Did it remind the judge of Lemonade? 😉
All in all it was a lot of fun and all of the entries were super tasty.
