Healthier Cookie Cutter Dough

Ingredients:

  • 0.66 cup Cream Cheese
  • 1.25 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1.25 cup Whole fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Unbleached Flour
  • 2 cup Almond Flour
  • 2 cup Powder Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 4 tbsp Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water

Directions:

Mix cream cheese and sugar with a hand mixer until creamy. Add eggs and mix. Add yogurt and mix. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then stir them into the wet ingredients by hand. Chill over I in a plastic bag. Roll onto a floured surface and cut out with your favorite cookie cutters. Bake on parchment paper at 350 for 12 - 15 min (depending on cookie size)
Combine water and sugar in a small sauce pan over medium heat and stir until dissolved. Turn heat down to low and simmer uncovered to reduce, about 10 minutes.
