Chopped Cheeseburger Sliders

This recipe works just as well with full size burger buns (which is what we had on hand tonight). Paired with roasted potatoes and a ginger dressed slaw it was lovely and satisfying. Easy to make one set with beef and a few of those without cheese. So everyone could eat what they wanted.

Ingredients:

  • 24 oz Veggie Crumble
  • 24 Slider Buns
  • 12 Slices of 2% American Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 12 Pickles
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Everything Seasoning

Directions:

We thaw the crumble in the microwave before sauteing it in a cast iron skillet. Once cooked, we add the mustard and stir. Then place cheese on the bottom of the buns, layer the cooked crumble and top with another slice of cheese.

Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with everything seasoning or seseme seeds.

Bake in a 400° oven until tops are lightly toasted and the cheese has melted.
