Almond Chickpea Yummy Cookies!

Don't let the beans scare you away. These are kid tested by our grandsons and they love these slightly sweet treats!

Ingredients:

  • can organic garbanzo beans (drained)
  • 0.67 cup quick cook organic oats
  • 0.25 cup almond butter
  • tsp cinnamon
  • tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • tsp baking powder

Directions:

Using a food processor puree all of the ingredients then spoon the dough onto baking sheets (makes about 20 cookies).
Bake at a 375°F oven for about 20 minutes or until lightly brown.
